PEVELY, Mo. – Sides Motorsports will return to a two-car team this week, welcoming Tim Kaeding for the 58th annual 5-Hour Energy Knoxville Nationals presented by Casey’s General Stores.

The Californian will join Jason Sides to tackle sprint car racing’s biggest event of the season, running Wednesday through Saturday at Iowa’s Knoxville Raceway.

“Tim did a great job driving for us earlier this season in California and he’s had a lot of success at Knoxville so we’re all excited about this week,” Sides said. “The goal is to put both of our cars into Saturday’s A-main.”

Sides, the 2001 Rookie of the Nationals, has advanced into the Knoxville Nationals A-main seven times, including last year. His best result came in 2010, when he finished 12th.

Kaeding also has seven A-main starts at the Knoxville Nationals. His top performance was a fourth-place outing in 2009.
