Haudenschild Set For Year Eight On Outlaw Tour

Sheldon Haudenschild will return to the wheel of the No. 17 Stenhouse Jr./Marshall Racing entry on the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series tour next year.

The upcoming season will be the Ohio native’s eighth consecutive full-time campaign with the Outlaws.

The 30-year-old finished seventh in the standings this past year, tallying three wins and 19 top fives. It was the fourth time in his career that he ended the season seventh. His best showing on the Outlaw tour was a fourth-place finish in 2020.

“Time flies. I feel like I still am just getting going in this. It feels like just yesterday I was out there in the 93 car and the first year with the 17. To be able to be with them for seven years now and be on the road this long feels great. You learn something every year,” Haudenschild said in a World of Outlaws press release

His trio of wins this season came at Missouri’s U.S. 36 Raceway, Beaver Dam (Wis.) Raceway and at Skagit Speedway in an unforgettable 16th-to-first charge. Haudenschild’s career total of Outlaw victories is now at 34.

On Tuesday, team owner Ricky Stenhouse Jr. noted on X (formerly known as Twitter), “Not the season we were looking for, but we learned a lot and are ready to battle in 2024.”

David Gravel, Gio Scelzi and Brock Zearfoss have also stated their intent to run full time with the Outlaws next year.
