Noah Gass is stepping away from the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series full time this year.
Gass, who has contested the full tour the past two seasons, announced his change in plans on social media, stating “I have little to no confidence left in myself, so I ultimately decided committing to a third season with the World of Outlaws was going to be too much.”

It was previously announced last December that Gass was set to compete full time with the series.
According to the statement, the 20-year-old and his team will “make our own schedule.”
“We don’t want to feel any pressure this season,” Gass said.
Gass stated he will compete in select World of Outlaws, High Limit Racing, POWRi, IRA, ASCS races this year while staying within the Midwest region where the Mounds, Okla. native is from.
“Heck, we may even break out the midget or show up at Port City to run our micro,” Gass said. “Currently, I feel this is what’s best for me, no pressure having fun and gaining my confidence back.”
