CONCORD, N.C. — Federated Auto Parts continues to expand its support with the World of Outlaws by becoming the title sponsor of the 49er Gold Rush Classic at Placerville (Calif.) Speedway and the September Sharon (Ohio) Speedway event.
The highly anticipated World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series events will see the iconic auto parts brand featured around the tracks, in addition to the Federated Car Care Work Zone, which is at every World of Outlaws event.
“Having Federated Auto Parts as the title sponsor of the Placerville Speedway and Sharon Speedway World of Outlaws events is an exciting opportunity to not only continue our support of dirt track racing, but connect with fans across the country,” said J.R. Bishop, director of event marketing & member services, Federated Auto Parts. “It has been exciting to see the Federated Auto Parts brand featured in several World of Outlaws events and we can’t wait to do so again in California and Ohio.”
The Federated Auto Parts 49er Gold Rush Classic at Placerville Speedway, in Placerville, Calif., on Saturday, Sept. 16, will see the World of Outlaws return to the quarter-mile bullring for the first time since 2019. And the Federated Auto Parts Showdown at Sharon Speedway, in Hartford, Ohio, on Saturday, Sept. 23, will be the series’ second visit to the Ohio track this year. Ten-time series champion Donny Schatz scored the win at Sharon in May.
Federated Auto Parts joined the World of Outlaws at the beginning of the year in a multi-year deal and, so far, this year has served as title sponsor for multiple events.
