CLINTON, Mo. – Officials from Champion Oil announced Friday that the Champion Racing Oil Summer Nationals will be held July 23-24 at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pa.

The two-day event will again be sanctioned by the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series.

The Champion Racing Oil Summer Nationals is a high-paying, hallmark event with multiple decades of history that includes the biggest names in dirt track racing competing at the historic half-mile Williams Grove dirt track, one of the country’s iconic venues.

The Champion Racing Oil Summer National Open is annually part of the foundation of the World of Outlaws sprint car schedule, which includes roughly 90 races at more than 50 different tracks throughout the United States.

Shane Stewart captured this year’s $8,000-to-win preliminary feature, while David Gravel won the $20,000 prize for topping the 30-lap finale at Williams Grove.

Steve Kinser and Donny Schatz are tied for the most Champion Racing Oil Summer Nationals finale wins, with five apiece.
