Four-time World of Outlaws Late Model Series champion Brandon Sheppard will be trading in his dirt late model for a 410 winged sprint car on May 1 at Jacksonville (Ill.) Speedway.
Sheppard plans to make his debut with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series that night, driving the No. B5 sprint car for Jake Neuman Racing. Neuman is a former POWRi midget champion.
“Better buckle up for this one,” Sheppard said in a social media post on Wednesday, as he broke the news. “Can’t thank the Neuman family enough the awesome opportunity.”
