Sprint car driver Bill Rose has been released from the hospital following a crash during Thursday night’s World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series event at Washington’s Skagit Speedway.
During the first heat at the three-tenths-mile oval, Rose, 58, was involved in an accident with Trey Starks. Rose exited his No. 6 machine under his own power.
An update following the accident was posted to his social media.
“Bill was transported to the hospital tonight for some x-rays. Possible broken ribs.”

Another update was posted Friday morning, stating Rose was released from the hospital with “broken ribs and (a) heavily bruised shoulder.”
