300 Club Table Garners Big Bids During NSCHoF Auction

KNOXVILLE, Iowa – Perhaps no event features more one-of-a-kind sprint car-related items than the annual National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum auction held annually during the Knoxville Nationals.

This year’s auction, which took place on Saturday, August 14, was a huge success, raising more money for the Hall’s Foundation than any previous auction in its history.

The item garnering the largest bid was this incredibly unique coffee table. Hall of Fame racer Kenny Jacobs hand-crafted this piece of furniture, featuring a wood frame and a sprint car wheel base. Showcased under glass are original, signed uniforms from all three drivers who have each earned more than 300 career feature wins with the World of Outlaws sprint car series – Sammy Swindell, Steve Kinser and Donny Schatz.

When bidding on Jacobs’ creation honoring “The 300 Club” came to an end, it had commanded a whopping winning bid of $14,000.
