USAC Eastern Midgets Confirm 18-Race Schedule

INDIANAPOLIS – The USAC Eastern Speed2 Midget Ass’n schedule has been released, with 18 dates in seven different states making up the series slate for the new year.

The all-pavement series opens up on April 3 with a stop at Florence Motor Speedway in Timmonsville, S.C.

April roars in with a visit to Highland Rim Speedway in Greenbrier, Tenn., on April 11, before concluding the month with a double-dip weekend April 24 at Wake County Speedway in Raleigh, N.C. and April 25 at Shenandoah Speedway in Shenandoah, Va.

The month of May gets underway on May 8 with the series’ first trip to Tri-County Motor Speedway in Granite Falls, N.C., since the 2005 season. Orange County Speedway in Rougemont, N.C. is next on the docket on May 16.

Dominion Raceway in Spotsylvania, Va., serves as host of the June opener on June 6, while a return trip to Shenandoah is in order for June 20.

The Mel Kenyon Classic, a special non-points event at Indiana’s Anderson Speedway, is a go for July 11, followed by a pair of events in back-to-back nights July 17 at Ace Speedway in Altamahaw, N.C. and Orange County on July 18.

The second of two non-points special events takes place on Aug. 12, with the Boston Louie Memorial marking a combo show with NEMA Lites at Seekonk Speedway in Massachusetts.

A mid-south weekend is on tap with Kentucky’s Highland Rim Speedway on Aug. 22 and Kentucky Motor Speedway in Whitesville, Ky., the following day on Aug. 23.

Dillon Motor Speedway in Dillon, S.C., leads off September with their lone appearance on the schedule in 2020, coming on Sept. 12, followed by the second of the season at Dominion on Sept. 26.

The season winds down with a doubleheader weekend Oct. 9-10 at Ace Speedway.
