Meseraull Is Kokomo Klash Midget Master

KOKOMO, Ind. – Thomas Meseraull raced to his third victory in eight days with RMS Racing by topping the midget portion of Kokomo Klash XIV on Friday night at Kokomo Speedway.

Meseraull grabbed the lead from Justin Grant on lap 15 of the 25-lap main event paced the remaining distance at the quarter-mile dirt oval in his familiar pink-and-white No. 7x.

The win in the USAC Midwest Regional Midget Series finale was worth $1,220 to the San Jose, Calif., veteran and fan favorite.

Grant faded to second after leading the first 14 circuits, with Shane Cottle completing the podium ahead of young guns Chase McDermand and Robert Dalby.

Jacob Denney, Clinton Boyles, Jeff Zelinski, Russ Gamester and Stratton Briggs filled out the top 10.
