PERRIS, Calif. — Tommy Malcolm raced from fourth-starting spot to win Saturday night’s Glen Howard Classic for the AMSOIL USAC-CRA Sprint Car Series at Perris Auto Speedway.
Don Gansen started on the pole and led the first 11 laps before Chris Gansen led lap 12. Malcolm sailed into the lead on lap 13 and paced the remainder of the 30-lap event on the half-mile track.
Series point leader Brody Roa raced from eighth on the grid to finish second.
Austin Williams, Austin Grabowski and Charles Davis Jr. completed the top five.
Eddie Tafoya Jr. was the fast qualifier.
