Logan Seavey Rules McSpadden Classic

SAN TAN VALLEY, Ariz. – Regaining the lead from Jake Swanson on lap 29, Logan Seavey topped the fourth annual Lealand McSpadden Classic at Arizona Speedway Saturday night.

Piloting Andy Reinbold & Todd Underwood’s No .19 AME Electrical/Ross Equipment Rentals Spike, Seavey earned the first Sands Chevrolet USAC Southwest Sprint Car win of his career over Swanson, Austin Williams, R.J. Johnson, and Stevie Sussex.

Swanson claimed the night’s Saldana Racing Products Hard Charger Award/Best Passing Job honors with 17th to second place run.

Seavey also earned the night’s Beaver Strips Fast Time Award over the 17-car field by posting a new track record of 14.714 seconds. The 10-lap heat race victories went to Bruce St. James and Charles Davis Jr.
