VENTURA, Calif. — Defending Turkey Night Grand Prix winner Kyle Larson headlines the entry list for the 77th annual running of the classic event for USAC National and the Western States Midgets Nov. 23 at Ventura Raceway.
Larson will return to Keith Kunz Curb-Agajanian Motorsports to drive the No. 1 midget that headlines a seven-car stable fielded by venerable Indiana car owner Keith Kunz that includes Chili Bowl winner Christopher Bell, USAC National Midget Series point leader Spencer Bayston, Tanner Thorson, Holly Shelton, Ryan Robinson and Tanner Carrick.
Clauson-Marshall Racing has entered four cars for Tyler Courtney, Justin Grant, Shane Golobic and Zeb Wise. West Coast team owner Keith Ford has entered a trio of cars for Jake Swanson, Carson Macedo and Dave Darland for the prestigious event at the fifth-mile Oceanside dirt track.
NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver Chase Briscoe will drive his own No. 5, while World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series runner-up Brad Sweet will deal the familiar Dooling-Hayward Motorsports No. 63.
Former Chili Bowl Nationals winner Chad Boat, Oval Nationals winner Kevin Thomas Jr., POWRi Midget League champion Logan Seavey, perennial contender Brady Bacon and New Zealand ace Michael Pickens are among those on the 48-driver entry list.
In addition to the midgets, the USAC West Coast 360 sprint cars will be on the Thanksgiving Night card. ARP has issued the ARP Midget & Sprint Car $50,000-To-Win Challenge to a driver who can win the sprint car and midget features on the same night.
A sprint car entry list has yet to be released.
