INDIANAPOLIS — The Indy Fuel are returning as the primary sponsor for the No. 57 Abacus Racing car being driven by USAC national midget points leader Logan Seavey at the annual BC39 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Sept. 27-29.
Larry McQueary, president and CEO of the Indy Fuel, commented, “We are very excited to again partner with Brent and Abacus Racing for this year’s BC39. Our name has always had a racing theme behind it so to again be part of this event is something special.”
The Indy Fuel are a minor league hockey team in the ECHL that is celebrating its 10th year in the league.
They are affiliated with the NHL’s Chicago Blackhawks and the AHL’s Rockford Ice Hogs.
The driver of the Abacus Racing No. 57 Indy Fuel car is Sutter, Calif., native Logan Seavey.
The 2018 USAC National Midget Champion and current points leader said, “I think the Indy Fuel sponsorship was such a unique program last year and it got a lot of deserved attention. When I was signed to drive for Abacus, I really hoped that program would return and I am very happy that it did. It will be a lot of fun to represent the Indy Fuel brand.”
Brent Cox, team principal for Abacus Racing, said, “The program was a great success last year and I was very excited when Larry wanted to renew it. It is a program that has a lot of components to it, and the BC39 is really just the start which is why the sponsorship program with the Indy Fuel is so much fun.”
