RALEIGH, N.C. – Connor Gross led all 35 laps to score a decisive victory in Friday’s USAC Eastern Speed2 Midget Ass’n feature at Wake County Speedway.
For Gross, a native of Asbury, N.J., it was his second victory of the season and came two weeks following his first at Virginia’s Dominion Raceway.
Jessica Bean ran second ahead of fast qualifier Alex Murray. Sam Hatfield and Nolan Allison rounded out the top five.
The feature ran from green to checkered and was completed in seven minutes, 35 seconds.
