IMPERIAL, Calif. — David Gasper put on a show in winning Friday night’s third annual Heritage Fall Classic for the Avanti Windows & Doors USAC-CRA Sprint Car Series at Imperial Valley Raceway.
Gasper led the first two laps before giving way to Tye Mihocko, who set the pace from lap three through 16. Austin Wiliams moved to the front on lap 17 and held the point until Gasper came calling on lap 23.
Gasper then led the final eight circuits for the victory.
R.J. Johnson was the fast qualifier with a track record lap of 11.976 seconds.
