Gardner Gets Back In Winning Groove

PERRIS, Calif. — Damion Gardner ended a dry spell in AMSOIL USAC-CRA sprint car competition by winning Saturday night’s 11thannual Glenn Howard Classic at Perris Auto Speedway.

Howard took the lead from point leader Brody Roa on lap 20 and led the final 11 laps of the half-mile oval to collect the victory.

Roa came home second, with Austin Williams, A.J. Bender and Danny Faria Jr. rounding out the top five.

Cody Williams was fast qualifier for the 19-car field.
