PERRIS, Calif. — Nic Faas used a late-race pass at Perris Auto Speedway to win Saturday’s AMSOIL USAC-CRA Sprint Car Series feature.

David Cardey jumped into the lead at the outset of the 30-lap feature and looked to have the car to beat. Despite multiple caution flags for four different flips, Cardey managed to hang onto the lead.

On lap 28 things changed as Faas drove by Cardey to snatch the lead away. Faas was able to hold off a fast closing Damion Gardner to score the victory.

Cardey finished third followed by Ryan Bernal and Cody Williams.

The finish:

Nic Faas, Damion Gardner, David Cardey, Ryan Bernal, Cody Williams, Mike Spencer, Brody Roa, Austin Williams, Bud Kaeding, Seth Wilson, Mike Martin, A.J. Bender, Rickie Gaunt, Richard Vander Weerd, Markus Niemela, Matt Mitchell, R.J. Johnson, Tony Everhart, Greg Alexander, David Bezio, Kenny Perkins, John Aden, Rip Williams.
