INDIANAPOLIS – The USAC .25 Dixie Shootout Series, which covers the Southeastern United Staes, has extended its sponsorship agreement with Briggs & Stratton Racing.
For the last four years, Briggs & Stratton has been at the forefront to help grow the Dixie Shootout by offering products racers want to have in their trailer. From small inverter generators to Animal Engines, Briggs & Stratton has supported the Dixie Shootout, which has enabled the series to more than double their participation.
Dixie races are held as one-day events beginning early in the morning until the last checkered flag waves. This format allows for families to make an event without the added costs of overnight lodging.
Alumni that have raced their way thru the Dixie Shootout include Neal and Nolan Allison, Jaxon Bishop, Preston Buckley, Jackson Boone, Bryce Carver, Carden and Canon Cochran, Dylan Fetcho, Jake Garcia, Dalton Gibson,Jagger Parker, Greyson Pate, Christian Pittman, Jake Ruggles, Ben and Nick McFarland and Connor Yonchuk.
The Briggs & Stratton partnership also includes a raffle for one Power Smart 3,000-watt inverter generator at each region race. Valued at more than $850, the P3000 is a quiet alternative to big box generators. All participants must run a Briggs & Stratton Racing decal on the right side of their car to be eligible for Briggs & Stratton giveaways. All Dixie Shootout winners running a Briggs class will receive a Briggs hat in victory lane.
“The Dixie Series is one of the premier series in the country and we are happy to support again in 2019,” said David Klaus, director of Briggs & Stratton Racing. “It’s so good to see such great competition that we continue to share within our company and across the country.”
