ROSSVILLE, Ind. — Cole Bodine will be back on the race track for this weekend’s Sprint Car Smackdown at Kokomo Speedway.
Bodine, who recently split with Clauson-Marshall Racing, will take the reins of the DCT Operations sprint car fielded by Kevin Bodine and Lynn Crow. Crow and Kevin Bodine created the company in 2019.
Aidex Corp., Buckeye Educational Systems and Desktop Metal will be partners on the No. 57 machine when it hits the track for the first time.
“We see this as the start of a great relationship using sprint car racing to provide awareness to all of the small to medium-sized industrial component manufacturers of Desktop Metal technology,” Kevin Bodine said. “We are excited to partner with Aidex, Buckeye and Desktop Metal. The idea that we can be a platform to not only bring awareness to the sprint car fans and industrial community, but to also engage our youth in education is fantastic.”
The younger Bodine is ready for the opportunity.
“I am beyond excited for this opportunity that DCT has given me, with the help of Aidex, Buckeye Educational Systems and Desktop Metal,” Cole Bodine said. “With the help from them, we are going to be able to take our team to the next level and be able to compete with the best.”
Bodine ranks 17th in the USAC sprint car standings.
