MOORESVILLE, N.C. — USAC Silver Crown Series standout Bobby Santos has announced a technical alliance with Mayhew Tools for the remainder of the season.
The alliance will see the company team up with the Franklin, Mass., native for the remainder of this year’s Silver Crown and King of the Wing Sprint Car Series schedule.
Santos will debut the Mayhew Tools colors during Saturday’s James/O’Connor Memorial at Indiana’s Salem Speedway and culminates with the Nov. 18-19 King of the Wings Sprint Car Series races at Irwindale Speedway and Kern County Speedway in California.
“I am excited to begin the partnership with John Lawless and Mayhew Tools. Their dedication to manufacturing tools that are exceptional, reliable, and tough is second to none. Mayhew Tools is truly a company dedicated to building tools that are not just good enough. To be able to partner with a company whose history dates back to 1856 is truly an honor. I look forward to promoting this great American company and am truly grateful for their help with my racing career,” said Santos about the partnership.
“We are looking forward to being able to create this partnership with Bobby Santos. Bobby is a great ambassador for the auto racing industry and we are certain that he will also be a great ambassador for Mayhew Tools,” said John Lawless, president of Mayhew Tools. “We have built a great foundation in the Northeast and we are excited to expand on this foundation nationally with Bobby in the Midwest and West coast this fall.”
Santos’ next race will be this Saturday with the USAC Silver Crown Series at Salem Speedway in southern Indiana.
