BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Bryan Stanfill raced to victory with the USAC Midwest Regional Midget Series on Friday night at Bloomington Speedway.
After starting fourth at the quarter-mile dirt oval, Stanfill passed polesitter and early leader Tyler Nelson on lap five of the 15-lap feature, leading the rest of the way to win his first Midwest Regional race of the year.
Stanfill became the fifth different winner in five series races this season. Stanfill joins Daison Pursley, Cannon McIntosh, Shane Cottle and Thomas Meseraull in that category.
Chett Gehrke started and finished second, followed by Max Adams, Brayton Lynch – the grandson of veteran mechanic Rusty Kunz – and Jeff Schindler.
