MERCED, Calif. — Ryan Bernal led the final eight laps to win round four of the Elk Grove Ford Mini Series for the USAC Western States midgets Saturday night at Merced Speedway.
Bernal took the lead from fast-qualifier Michael Faccinto on lap 23 of the event that was co-sanctioned by the Bay Cities Racing Ass’n and held Faccinto at bay the remaining distance.
Faccinto rode home second, with Austin Liggett, Ben Worth and Jake Andreotti rounding out the top five.
