PERRIS, Calif. – The AMSOIL USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series schedule for next season features 27 events at nine tracks in California and Arizona.
In addition, several races are expected to be added to the schedule. Venues for the annual runnings of the Louie Vermeil Classic and Western World Championship are also still to be determined.
The season opens at Cocopah Speedway in Yuma, Ariz., with three nights of action on Jan. 27-29. The series then heads back to California for the first three stops at Thunderbowl Raceway in Tulare, Calif., on March 4. Thunderbowl also welcomes the series again on April 2 (Chris & Brian Faria Memorial) and July 9. Keller Auto Speedway in Hanford, Calif., hosts the series three times as well. The first visit is on March 5, with additional stops coming on April 1 and July 8 (Spanky Mathews Memorial).
Next up is the traditional home of the series, Perris (Calif.) Auto Speedway. The popular California track hosts the series 10 times next season, which includes the annual Oval Nationals that serves as the season finale for the series on Nov. 3-5. As usual, the Oval Nationals will be a co-sanctioned event with the USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car Series.
Other races at Perris take place on March 26 (SoCal Showdown), April 30 (Sokola Shootout), May 28 (Salute to Indy), June 25 (Bubby Jones & Ray Sheetz Memorial), Aug. 6, Aug. 20 (California Racers Hall of Fame Night) and Sept. 17 (Glenn Howard Classic).
The tour returns to Arizona at Mohave Valley Raceway twice next year, with series stops scheduled for April 23 and Oct. 8.Â
Bakersfield (Calif.) Speedway (May 14) and Ventura (Calif.) Raceway (June 11) are each scheduled to welcome the series once.
