VENTURA, Calif. – The USAC Western States Midget Series calendar features 12 dates at eight tracks across the state of California.
The season opens on March 4 at Thunderbowl Raceway in Tulare, Calif. The series is set for two visits to Thunderbowl, with a second stop scheduled for April 2. Keller Auto Speedway in Hanford, Calif., welcomes the series once next season on March 5.
Placerville (Calif.) Speedway welcomes the Western States Midget Series on March 26 for the Spring Fever Frenzy. The tour returns to Placerville on May 7 for Mother’s Day Madness. Bakersfield (Calif.) Speedway hosts the tour once on April 16. Merced (Calif.) Speedway is scheduled to host the series twice, with dates on April 16 and June 18. Â
Petaluma (Calif.) Speedway welcomes the tour on July 23. Ventura (Calif.) Raceway hosts a duo of events on Aug. 27 and Sept. 27. The Dirt Track at Kern County Raceway Park in Bakersfield, Calif., hosts the season finale on Oct. 15.Â
