Snyder Does It Again In KKM Challenge

SWEET SPRINGS, Mo. — Steven Snyder Jr. led all 25 laps to win the second preliminary feature of the KKM Challenge at Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex Friday night.

Flying onto the track for the feature saw high point qualifier Steven Snyder Jr. and outside front-row contender Jett Hayes leading the field to green as Snyder held the front of the field for the first few action-packed circuits as Austin Saunders, Hayes, Dylan Kadous and Braden Chiaramonte battled inside the top five.

Speedy feature racing action unfolding at a rapid pace saw Snyder extend his lead over Saunders, Hayes, Chiaramonte and Dylan Kadous until the first caution flag waved on lap 10.

Launching back to green-flag competition, Snyder pulled away with Hayes second and Saunders back to third. Another yellow flag bunched the field midway through the race.

Snyder protected the lead on the restart and cruised to his fifth career POWRi Outlaw Non-Wing Micro feature win as Hayes finished second, with Kadous third.

“I really wanted to get a win in prelim nights to prove we have a car to contend with on Saturday,” Snyder said. “I guess we’ll find out tomorrow if we can get it done but I know with this team it’s possible.”

Upholding a solid showing all event, Saunders finished fourth, with Frank Flud fifth.
