Pursley Controls Port City Micro Sprint Run

TULSA, Okla. – Daison Pursley powered the No. 71K Keith Kunz Motorsports micro sprint to victory during Sunday’s POWRi Engler Machine & Tool Micro Sprint League event at Port City Raceway.

Pursley had been strong all weekend in the No. 71K during the eighth running of the Turnpike Challenge and was able to finish the weekend in victory lane. To start Sunday’s 20-lap main event, Pursley lined up on the pole with Tyler Kuykendall to his outside. Purlsey jumped to the early lead and never looked back.

Ryan Timms and Kuykendall ran second and third as they attempted to hunt down the leader.

Saturday’s winner, Frank Flud, challenged Kuykendall and took the third position before setting his sights on Timms. After a few cautions, the top-three separated themselves from the rest of the field.

Every car rolled around the bottom as Pursley made his way to the checkered flag to pick up the win. Timms was second and Flud finished third.
