BELLEVILLE, Ill. – Due to the amount of rainfall throughout the week and the predicted rain forecasted through Saturday the POWRi Lucas Oil WAR Sprint Car League event at Missouri’s Lake Ozark Speedway has been postponed.
The event was also scheduled to feature a co-sanctioned race for the ASCS Sooner ASCS Warrior classes and the POWRi Lucas Oil Racesaver 305 winged sprints.
Track officials are working with POWRi to reschedule the event.
The ASCS Warrior Region portion of the race has been rescheduled for May 24 alongside the POWRi Lucas Oil Racesaver 305 winged sprints. The ASCS Sooner Region will not take part in the rescheduled event.
The POWRi Lucas Oil National and West Midget Leagues and the POWRi Lucas Oil WAR Sprint League will now kick-off their respective seasons at Valley Speedway on May 23-24 during the Mid-State Nationals. The races will be broadcast live on POWRi.TV.
