POWRi Leagues Set Sights On Tri-State

BELLEVILLE, Ill. – One of the most physically demanding and technical tracks the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget and POWRi Lucas Oil WAR Sprint Leagues visit, Tri-State Speedway will host The Class Track Mania event this Saturday.

With drivers rolling the bottom along the infield tires and others taking to the razor-thin cushion up top, side-by-side action is prevalent at the high-banked Tri-State Speedway.

Competitors from the POWRi Lucas Oil WAR Sprint League will battle alongside stars from the Midwest Sprint Car Series for a $5,000 winner’s share, with top-tier talents from all over the traditional sprint car world trying to take home the top prize.

In the lone appearance at Tri-State Speedway for the POWRi Lucas Oil WAR Sprint League back in 2018, it was C.J. Leary earning the win.

The POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget League has not visited Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Ind., since 2014 when Darren Hagen took home the last Hut Hundred win in a co-sanctioned event with USAC.

Can’t make it out to the track and don’t want to miss any of the racing program? SPEED SPORT TV affiliate POWRi TV will be on hand to cover all the action live.
