Miller Continues Grain Valley Success

GRAIN VALLEY, Mo. – Joe B. Miller took his No. 51B POWRi Engler Machine & Tool Micro to victory lane for the third-straight time at Valley Speedway on Saturday evening.

Trevin Littleton was second and Jordan Howell finished third.

Miller started on the front row with Jordan Howell to his inside. Howell took the lead early over Miller and Chase Porter. Howell and Miller gapped the rest of the field and Miller found himself running a car length lower on exit in both of the corners.

Miller put pressure on Howell and took the lead at the exit of turn two after a few laps. Howell fell back to second and Harley Hollan found his way up to the third position. Miller reached lapped traffic on lap 13, but still managed to extend his lead over the rest of the field.

Miller went on to win the 20-lap main event, which was run caution free. Littleton and Howell followed, with Hollan and Wyatt Siegel completing the top-five.

“Jordan got a really good start, and I thought I might be in trouble there, it was kind of one lane around the bottom,” Miller said. “I just kind of moved around so I could get a little more extra speed to carry into the next corner and it worked well. I can’t thank everybody enough back in the pits, Derrick, Al, Jamie, Dad, Louie, all of my sponsors, and all of my friends and family. I couldn’t do it without them.”

The finish:

Joe B. Miller, Trevin Littleton, Jordan Howell, Harley Hollan, Wyatt Siegel, Chase Porter, Scotty Milan, Xavier Doney, Bryant Wiedeman, Branigan Roark, Mariah Ede, Lane Warner, Christopher Townsend, Ava Gropp.
