BREWERTON, N.Y. — Night three of Speedweek for the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints saw a different winner.
Modified veteran Larry Wight, who makes frequent starts in a 360 sprint car, ended Paulie Colagiovanni’s two-race winning streak with the series, topping the 25-lap event Friday at Brewerton Speedway.
Wight took the checkered flag ahead of Matt Tanner.
Jordan Poirier, Denny Peebles and Jason Barney rounded out the top five.
Colagiovanni finished eighth.
