CALIFORNIA, Mo. – After being rained out on June 7, the WAR Series presented by Impact Signs, Awnings, and Wraps will be back in action July 19 at Springfield Raceway in Springfield, Mo.

Chad Goff leads WAR into Springfield as he holds a 10-point advantage over Chris Parkinson. Josh Stephens sits in third with Bob Thoman and John Helm rounding out the top five.

The Indigo Sky Casino is offering extra money for the race, which will now pay $1000 to win. The pit gate will open at 4 p.m. with the grandstands opening at 5:30 p.m. Hot laps are slated for 6:10 p.m. with racing action scheduled for 7:00.

Following Springfield, WAR will make a trip to Lebanon, Mo. on July 26 as part of Hot Summer Nights at Midway Speedway. This will be WAR’s second appearance at Midway in 2014.

In its first appearance in March, Mitchell Moore picked up the win.

WAR will make a return to Springfield on Aug. 23. WAR also returns to Central Missouri Speedway in Warrensburg, Mo. on Aug. 31.
