WARRNAMBOOL, Australia – Jamie Veal was the class of the field during the Sprintcar Showdown at Premier Speedway at Sungold Stadium on Saturday.
Veal dominated the feature, leading the entire 30-lap distance and surviving a few caution periods to pick up the victory.
The reigning Australian sprint car champion held off Darren Mollenoyux to take home the checkered flag. Grant Anderson, Jordyn Charge and Jesse Attard completed the top-five.
