ATLANTA – The United Sprint Car Series Outlaw Thunder Tour presented by K&N Filters will kick off its new season with the opening two rounds of the 10-race USCS Winter Heat Series presented by FireAde 2000 on Jan. 25-26.

The pair of events will take place at Hendry County Motorsports Park in Clewiston, Fla., and the opening doubleheader of the mini-series of events marks the earliest start in the 23-year history of the USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour.

These events are at the southernmost dirt racing venue in the United States.

Drivers from as far away as Canada and Washington state are expected for the inaugural USCS Snow-Free Winter Nationals at the recently-remodeled quarter-mile racing facility.

Temperatures are expected to be in the 70 to 80 degree range in the daytime, with evenings dipping down into the 60s and a possible low of high 50s for the two-night affair in South Florida.

Friday’s preliminary main event will pay $1,500 to the winner, with the last place starter receiving $250. Saturday night’s finale of the Snow Free Winter Nationals presented by Fireade 2000 will award the winner $3,000 for being the first to take the checkered flag.

Arkansas’ Jordon Mallett is the two-time defending USCS national champion, winning his second title last year with a sweep of all three USCS regional divisions in the process.
