U.S.A. Vs. Australia Set For SPEED SPORT 1

MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Organizers of the five nights in five days U.S.A. vs Australia extravaganza held at Murray Bridge Speedway, Tolmer Speedway Bordertown, Borderline Speedway Mount Gambier, Avalon Raceway and Premier Speedway Warrnambool will be broadcast via three one-hour specials on SPEED SPORT 1 — the motorsports network now available on all smart or connected TV’s, mobile platforms and via SPEEDSPORT1.com.

The excitement keeps coming with news that whilst the shows will be taped in Australia the shows will be produced in the U.S. in the SPEED SPORT studios.

Brandt Sprintcar Speedweek manager Wade Aunger said he’s delighted to be partnering with SPEED SPORT.

“This is a huge development for not only Brandt Sprintcar Speedweek and the host venues, but for the Australian teams as well. I hope that this increased exposure and awareness for our Aussie drivers and teams leads to some opportunities in the U.S.A. in the future where American team owners and tracks then recognize our drivers from seeing them on the coverage,” Aunger said. “It’s a huge win for everyone.”

Held across the following dates and venues the Brandt Sprintcar Speedweek pays more than $220,000.

“SPEED SPORT has a long history of showcasing the best Australian sprint car racers – from streaming live races to co-developing the SPEED SPORT World Challenge during the Knoxville Nationals,” said Joe Tripp, CEO. “Wade is one of the best story tellers in the business, and I’m thrilled that we once again working together to showcase these teams and events to our massive North American audience on SPEED SPORT 1.”

Three USA drivers will compete against some of the best Australian drivers across the five nights.

Waco Texas’ Chase Randall, Knoxville Iowa’s Riley Goodno and Colombia Missouri’s Garet Williamson will drive for Australian car owners DKM Motorsport, Camden Signage Racing and TVG Motorsport, respectively.

Current Australian National champion Lockie McHugh, former Australian Champion Marcus Dumesny, Tasmanian livewire Tate Frost, South Australian veterans and Speedweek standouts Luke Dillon and Glen Sutherland, Victorian stars on the rise Jordyn Charge and Peter Doukas, 2023 Warrnambool Classic winner Brock Hallett, Supercar star Cameron Waters, last weekend’s “Max’s Race” winner Daniel Pestka, recently crowned South Australian State Champion Rusty Hickman, South Aussie “All Star Challenge” Brendan Quinn, Queensland hot shoe Jy Corbet, Teenage Mount Gambier rising star Parker Scott, Young in NSW consistent front runner Jackson Delamont, Murray Bridge veteran gasser Ryan Jones and so many more!
