AMARILLO, Texas — After the dust settled on 10 exciting heat races, the top 12 in points have locked in to tomorrow night’s $10,000-to-win Lyndon Moss Memorial at Route 66 Motor Speedway.
At total of 37 cars showed up to battle at the race with the largest 305ci sprint winner’s payday in the nation.
Based on two heat races and passing points, 15-year-old Braxton Wilson from Lubbock, Texas, was impressive with a heat win from fourth and a sixth to third in his second heat, earning the pole for tomorrow night.
Starting alongside Wilson on the front row is hometown favorite Chris Douglas after Douglas won his heat from the pole, and went sixth to second in his second heat race.
