Three Set To Enter Little 500 Hall Of Fame

ANDERSON, Ind. – Two former Little 500 car owners and a car builder are slated for induction into the Little 500 Hall of Fame on May 25 as part of the 71st annual Pay Less Little 500 presented by UAW Week.

The class of 2019 will be formally inducted at a luncheon at Anderson Speedway on the afternoon of the Little 500.

The class of 2019 includes Bob Gratton, Tony Nosal, and Jerry Stuckey.

Gratton, of Homosassa, Fla., is a car owner who fielded nine entries from 1998-2003 in the Little 500. He earned three pole positions with Dave Steele and his cars completed 3,968 laps, earning three top-five finishes including, a runner-up in 2001. His cars led four races for a total of 762 laps. He also fielded entries for Kipp Beard, Stan Butler and Wayne Reutimann.

Nosal, of Diamondale, Mich., is a car owner who has fielded 16 entries throughout the years. His cars have completed 5,082 laps in the Little 500 and earned three poles (1997, ’98 and ’05). Nosal’s cars have earned five top-five finishes, including a runner-up result in 1995. His cars have led five races for a total of 210 laps. He’s fielded cars for Jason Blonde, Gary Fedewa, Tom Fedewa and Bill Tyler.

Lastly, Stuckey of Spring Hill, Fla., is the builder of the Hurricane Chassis. He debuted his first car in 1996, winning with driver Jack Nowling and car owner Dave Steele. His equipment also won in 2000 with Jim Childers at the wheel. Stuckey’s cars have won five poles and earned seven podiums at the Little 500.

The 30th annual Little 500 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place at Anderson Speedway on Saturday afternoon, May 25. Seating is limited at this year’s luncheon, so advance tickets will be the only way to guarantee a seat. Please order your tickets as soon as possible.
