Three-Race Midwest Swing Set For All Star Sprints

BROWNSBURG, Ind. – The Ollie’s Bargain Outlet All Star Circuit of Champions has updated its calendar for the weekend of July 30-Aug. 1, visiting three different tracks in Wisconsin and Iowa.

Marking a slight shuffle in destinations from the original weekend agenda, the traveling All Stars will kick off the three-night stand with the Rayce Rudeen Foundation Race at the Plymouth Dirt Track in Plymouth, Wis., on Thursday, July 30.

Originally scheduled for late-May, the second annual Rayce Rudeen Foundation event will award a $26,000 top prize. It’s the second-largest paying show on the All Star schedule.

Trekking southwest into the Hawkeye State, the weekend will continue with a visit to 34 Raceway in West Burlington, Iowa, on Friday, July 31.

Originally slated to take the Sunday, Aug. 2, slot during the All Star invasion of Iowa, 34 Raceway’s visit now replaces Jackson Motorplex’s original date and will feature the All Star Circuit of Champions for only the fifth time in series history.

The All Stars most recently tackled 34 Raceway on July 28, 2019, during the inaugural Rayce Rudeen Foundation Race won by three-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Tony Stewart.

Needing no formal introduction, the three-race swing will conclude with a visit to the Sprint Car Capital of the World – Knoxville (Iowa) Raceway – on Saturday, Aug. 1 for Weiler Night with the Ollie’s Bargain Outlet All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1.

Teams represented will battle on the world-famous half-mile for a $5,000 top prize.

California’s Gio Scelzi scored the 2019 Knoxville Raceway victory featuring Tony Stewart’s All Stars, topping a field of 48 entries for his first-ever All Star win.

With the intent to build a four-race weekend through the Midwest, All Star Circuit of Champions officials are working to find a destination for Sunday, Aug. 2. Details regarding an added event will be shared if and when they become available.

A visit to Jackson Motorplex in Jackson, Minn., may be an option for the Sunday slot.
