Sweet Makes It Three Straight With Texas Score

FORT WORTH, Texas — When you’re hot, you’re hot. Brad Sweet is smoking right now.

The soon-to-be champion of Kubota High Limit Racing is entering the season finale on Saturday with a three-race win streak after triumphing on Friday at the four-tenths-mile dirt track.

Sweet’s most recent victory followed triumphs earlier this week at I-70 Speedway and Lucas Oil Speedway. It was Sweet’s 10th High Limit win this season.

The 25-lap feature saw five lead changes with Sweet taking the lead from Daryn Pittman on lap 13. Pittman drove Don Kreitz Jr.’s No. 69k back to the front a lap later before Sweet pushed the Kasey Kahne Racing No. 49 back to the point on lap 15 and paced the final 11 circuits.

Pittman finished second in his Kubota High Limit Racing debut.

Ryan Timms’ breakout week continued with a third-place effort on Friday night, making it the third-straight event this week he’s battled for the win with Kubota High Limit Racing since climbing in the Shane Liebig No. 10.
