David Gravel remained on top of the National Sprint Car Rankings heading into this week’s 62nd running of the Knoxville Nationals at Knoxville (Iowa) Raceway.
Gravel, who leads the nation with 14 victories, has an average finish of 4.478 in 46 starts this season. He also leads the World of Outlaws standings.
Donny Schatz moved ahead of High Limit Racing point leader Brad Sweet to rank second this week with an average finish of 5.413 in 46 starts compared to Sweet’s average finish of 5.429 in 42 races.
Carson Macedo jumped up to fourth, with A.J. Flick rounding out the top five.
One hundred drivers have reached 20 required starts to be eligible for the national rankings and 776 drivers have run at least one 410 main event this season.
Macri has sole possession of the top spot in the Eastern regional standings and Cole Macedo holds the lead in the Western standings. Sweet tops of the Mid-America region standings.
Cap Henry has moved to the front of the line in the Great Lakes region, leading Cale Thomas by two points.
Mark Dobmeier heads the Great Plains region. A.J. Flick continues to pace the PA-OH region and Robbie Price leads the Northwestern stanza.
One hundred and 45 drivers have won the 328 features run so far this season.
