Sprint Rankings: Another Week With Sweet On Top

Weather limited Brad Sweet to only one race last week, but he remains on top of the National Sprint Car Rankings for the fourth consecutive week.

Sweet boasts a 4.906 average finish in 32 starts aboard the Kasey Kahne Racing No. 49 winged sprint car.

The High Limit point leader edges World of Outlaws point leader David Gravel for the top spot as Gravel carries a 5.194 average finish in 31 races.

Tyler Courtney, who won three features in the past week, jumps to third with an average finish of 5.472 in 36 events.

Pennsylvania racer Troy Wagaman Jr. and World of Outlaws veteran Donny Schatz complete the top five.

Danny Dietrich continues to pace the Eastern region, while Blaine Baxter has moved to the top of the Western standings. Sweet holds the top of the Mid-America region standings.

Cale Thomas leads the Great Lakes region and Austin McCarl holds a one-point advantage over Aaron Reutzel in the Great Plains standings. A.J. Flick continues to pace the PA-OH region and Robbie Price has moved to the lead in the Northwestern stanza.

Gravel and Anthony Macri have each won nine features, while Courtney has eight triumphs.

One hundred and 17 drivers have won the 217 features run so far this season.
