MANSFIELD, Ohio – Rain has forced the postponement of the $100,000-to-win Sprint Car World Championship finale scheduled for Saturday at Mansfield Motor Speedway.
A severe storm hit the track prior to Saturday’s racing action, forcing officials to postpone the event. Officials are evaluating potential makeup dates for Saturday’s finale.
An update will be announced by the track on Monday.
Cory Eliason and Aaron Reutzel won Friday’s preliminary features.
