IMPERIAL, Pa. — Hall of Fame sprint car racer Tim Shaffer started outside the front row and won Saturday night’s FAST Sprint Series season opener at Pittsburgh PA Motor Speedway.
Shaffer drove the familiar Rudzik No. 49x machine to victory in the 20-lap event, leading polesitter Danny Sams III to the checkered flag.
Sye Lynch finished third, with Dale Blaney and A.J. Flick completing the top five.
