Selinsgrove Speedway To Host A Dozen 410 Races

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Selinsgrove Speedway will host 12 winged 410 sprint car races in 2022 with a point fund reserving $5,000 to the overall winner.

The Lelands.com 410 Sprint Car Series starts Sunday, March 27, at 2 p.m. and rounds out with the Jim Nace Memorial 40th anniversary National Open on Sept. 23-24.

It’ll be the first time since 1992 the Crown Jewel event will run multiple days. 

Selinsgrove will host the Pennsylvania Speedweek finale for the second straight year on Sunday, July 3, with the Opperman-Bogar-Heintzelman Memorial. A rain date is reserved for Monday, July 4, if needed.

Thursday night races include May 26 and June 16, where the winged 410 sprint cars are joined by the USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Cars and its Eastern Storm tour.

Winged 410 sprint cars also appear in the Ray Tilley Classic on Sunday, April 24; the 76th Anniversary Eve Sprint Car Spectacular on Tuesday, July 19; Summer Championship Night on Saturday, July 23; the 42nd annual Jack Gunn Memorial on Saturday, Aug. 27; and Labor Day weekend, Sunday, Sept. 4.

Selinsgrove Speedway’s opening day is scheduled for Saturday, March 19, at 2 p.m. featuring the Short Track Super Series modifieds in the Icebreaker 40, plus 602 crate sportsman modifieds.
