Schuerenberg Finds A Ride With Hayward Motorsports

Hunter Schuerenberg will pilot the No. 19 sprint car for Hayward Motorsports in 2024.

The team did not release their season schedule, but did announce the driver news on Friday afternoon.

In early June of last year, prior to Ohio Sprint Speedweek, Schuerenberg split with longtime team Vermeer Motorsports after his three-year run in their No. 55 entry. At the time, the pair was ranked third in points in the All Star Circuit of Champions series.

Chris Windom then took over Schuerenberg’s vacant seat.

During the remaining season, Schuerenberg hopped behind the wheel of a few different machines, including the Zemco Racing No. 1 and Alex Bowman Racing’s No. 55 sprint car.

He will now be full time with Hayward Motorsports for the coming season.
