KNOXVILLE, Iowa – TKS Motorsports officials have announced that Ryan Giles will pilot the team’s No. 2KS 410 sprint car next year.
The team plans to chase the 410 sprint car track championship at Knoxville (Iowa) Raceway while also competing in additional events in the Midwest as time allows.
“I’m looking forward to getting the 2022 season started,” Giles said. “I’m thankful for the opportunity Troy and Tammy Renfro have given me to be a part of their family team.”
Chad Kemenah, Tasker Phillips, Sammy Swindell and Matt Juhl all drove the team’s No. 2KS entry this year.
In addition to the signing of Giles, the team also confirmed the Iowa Barnstormers, an Indoor Football League team, and Albaugh LLC, a crop production product company, has joined the team as major sponsors for the 2022 season.
“I’d like to thank the Iowa Barnstormers and Albaugh LLC for allowing us to represent them around the Midwest and I hope to represent them well as we continue to add 410 experiences to my resume,” Giles said. “I’m excited to get out and travel and see some new race tracks outside of Knoxville.”
The team will also have additional sponsorship next year from Kistler Racing Engines, Hicklin Power Sports, United Classic Body & Paint, Mipa Professional Coasting System – Lapland Distributing LLC. Returning sponsors include Des Moines Industrial Products, deWit Construction, Jerry Freeze, Central Iowa Shields, Billy Bell House Moving, TJ Forged, Webb Family Farms and The Heady Family.
