GAFFNEY, S.C. — Eric Riggins Jr. posted a clean sweep of the United Sprint Car Series Presented by K&N Filters 25-lap feature on Saturday night at Cherokee Speedway.Â
Riggins led all 25 laps of the main event from the pole position. He also won the six-lap Hoosier Racing Tire Speed Dash and he won the Engler Machine & Tool First Heat Race.
It was Riggins’ fifth USCS win of the 2024 season and his 24th career USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour winged sprint car win. It was additionally his second USCS win of the season at Cherokee Speedway.
The apparent second place finisher, Lance Moss, was disqualified after he failed to bring his race car to the post-race technical inspection.
Kyle Connery was awarded the second spot. Two National Sprint Car Hall of Fame Inductees finished third and fourth. The 2022 USCS National Champion Danny Smith was third while the defending and 15-time USCS National Champion Terry Gray took the fourth spot.
