Less than a week following the Knoxville Nationals at Knoxville (Iowa) Speedway, Chase Randall and TKS Motorsports have parted ways.
Randall announced the news via social media on Tuesday evening.
“Today I made the decision to part ways with TKS Motorsports,” the statement read. “As of today, Chase Randall will no longer be piloting the 2KS car for Troy and Tammy Renfro. This was not an easy decision and it ultimately was my own. I felt like this was the best decision for me moving forward.
“I want to say thank you to Troy and Tammy for giving me the opportunity to drive for them. They allowed me to race at Knoxville and compete in the World of Outlaws and High Limit series. Getting my first 410 win at Knoxville Raceway with the team is something I’ll never forget. Don Lamberti, owner of the Iowa Barnstormers and Dennis Albaugh with Albaugh Your Alternative, were big supporters of the team and we wouldn’t have been able to accomplish what we did without them.

“I want to say a huge thank you to all my supporters that have stuck with me,” the statement continued. “Your support is what has kept me going, through the ups and downs of racing. Your cheers, messages, and encouragement mean the most to me. I’m thankful for you all. Thank you for being a big part of this journey with me.
“I look forward to seeing all of my fans at the race track very soon.”
Randall joined TKS last June. In his most recent race with TKS, Randall finished 22nd in last Saturday’s Knoxville Nationals feature.Â
