PA Speedweek Begins June 26 At Williams Grove

ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. – Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek presented by Red Robin officials have confirmed the nine-race schedule for the 30th edition of the series.

The marquee event is the $15,000-to-win Mitch Smith Memorial at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, July 3. The week also includes two $10,000-to-win races, one $9,200-to-win race, two $7,000 races and three races with $5,000 on the line.

The 30th Anniversary of the series has an increased point fund and includes an added incentive for drivers to compete in all nine races. The point fund will pay out a total of $17,500. The series champion will earn $5,000, second will take home $3,000, third will receive $2,000, fourth will earn $1,500 and fifth will earn $1,200. The next five points finishers who compete in event event will earn $1,000.

“With the addition of Red Robin as the presenting sponsor of the 2020 Pennsylvania Sprint Car Speed Week we’re excited to add this incentive for the drivers that compete in all nine shows,” said Alan Kreitzer, a member of the association that organized the series. “Red Robin is a great supporter of sprint car racing and this partnership will help to advance the growing popularity and prestige of the PA Speed Week series”.
