OSHKOSH, Wis. – Torrential rains and a hefty dose of snow last weekend have forced the Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series to postpone their season opener that was scheduled for Saturday at the Oshkosh SpeedZone.
The 2014 schedule for the Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprints will still remain at 30 races as an agreement has been reached to reschedule the event for late afternoon on May 4.
The season opening show for the series will now be the Joe Wipperfurth Memorial race at Beaver Dam (Wis.) Raceway on April 26. The event is an all open-wheel show as the IRA sprints headline the program supported by the MSA Sprint Car Ass’n.
The high powered machines of the Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprints will then return to Oshkosh Speedzone for the rescheduled contest on May 4.
